• Go to "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu
• Change to the "Security" tab
• Click "Custom Level..." button
• TO ENABLE: under 'Scripting' category at bottom, Click/make sure 'Enable' or 'Prompt' is selected 
  for the options  Active scripting and Scripting of Java applets
• TO DISABLE: under 'Scripting' category at bottom, Click/make sure 'Disable' or 'Prompt' is selected 
  for the options  Active scripting and Scripting of Java applets
• Hit Refresh or restart the browser
